Double shock: Nikon D3000 and D5000 vs. Canon XS and XSi

Double shock: Nikon D3000 and D5000 vs. Canon XS and XSi

Continuing the posts on DSLR promotes a duel actually a pitched battle between the cheaper models of the two giants of photography, but it do not cease to be effective. Again the intention is to show the pros and cons of each model and here are four that are certainly the most sought after because their prices are quite attractive sometimes costing less than the superzoom top notch.
First I'll list the differences between the models one by one, only to then show what differs one brand from another: Both brands carry a 10-megapixel camera (Nikon and Canon D3000 XS) and a 12 megapixel camera (Nikon and Canon XSI D5000) ; The XSI D3000 and has 3-inch LCD display, the XS measures of 2.5 and 2.7 measures of D5000 which is less than the D3000 but is only 4, which is mobile, the D3000 is the only one not so has the live view (the one that allows the LCD to see what is in front of your lens) as is common in all compact but only now is being used in DSLR, the flash of the two models in the Canon has the same range of 13 meters while the Nikon D3000 only reaches 12 meters, the Nikon D5000 arrives at an amazing 17 meters!
The mode of exposure compensation Nikon is better because there is more exposure levels well over leaving the photographer free to leave your photos underexposed or overexposed, the Nikon D5000 is the only one of four to make videos and on top of HD resolution of 1280x720 . So far I've shot two conclusions: the first is that Nikon will win this duel with the Canon and the second is that the Nikon is far superior to D5000 D3000 , unlike what happens with the models from Canon that are separated by a very small difference between them.
Now comes the main differences between Nikon and Canon: The sensor that Nikon has been using since the previous series, D40, D60 and D80 is the CCD (the exceptions are the D90 and D5000 using CMOS) and Canon has used systematically in the CMOS their DSLR cameras . Apparently this type of CMOS camera always behaves better, maybe this is the greatest cause for complaint of nikonzeiros lately, however, that CCD is a little larger than the Canon CMOS and maybe it will influence positively on their performance. I personally believe that a slightly smaller CMOS is superior but this is a very personal opinion, not shared by all
Something that certainly would support the Canon is the price of their lenses and accessories that is always less than the Nikon and the same quality because at least I can not say with 100% certainty that the optical quality is a major the other, are practically the same, equally excellent. And beware the fact that not all Nikon lenses have focus motor in the Canon all have.

Blogger's opinion: Camera for camera, Nikon D5000 truly victorious in this battle royal is attractive because it has no other videos such as LCD and mobile; generally believe that if it were a contest between teams, the neglect of both the Nikon D3000 I get a little leaning to the side of the Canon because of its sensor. In short: Canon XS and XSi and Nikon would be great shopping D5000, the D3000 does not. Two balls in the Canon and a ball inside and one outside of Nikon.
